Almond oil soap is ideal for a proper skin care. It is also easy to make this soap at home, provided one has the appropriate knowledge about the same. Read on to know more.
Soaps prepared using almond oil are basically made from the oil's sweeter variety. The oil used for making soaps is mainly incurred by cold pressure method of gaining oil. Almond oil is beneficial for softening the skin by nourishing it with its vitamin E content.
This soap is hence very useful for treating several skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis. Along with vitamin E, this soap is also rich with other vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and vitamin B6. It is rich with antioxidants that are really essential for a healthy skin and to manage the free radicals.
The counterparts of this oil that are used during preparation provide a subtle scent as well as cure many skin problems like itching, drying, and skin inflammation. The soap makes smooth and creamy lather.
It is a result of the ingredients that actually cause chains of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids that are very effective for a total skin care. There are possibly no harmful chemicals making it safe for the babies and facial skin care as well.

Ingredients

  • 6.4 oz sweet almond oil
  • 3.2 oz shea butter
  • 5.7 oz water
  • 3.2 oz coconut oil
  • 1.6 oz lanolin oil
  • 0.2 oz sweet almond oil (mixed at trace for superfatting)
  • 3.2 oz any favorite essential oil

Procedure

First thing is to wear safety eye-gears and nephron hand gloves for safety. Melt the lye and set it aside when it gets dissolved completely. When it reaches the temperature of about 125°F, add the picked oils into it and heat over about the same temperature.
Make sure you add lye to the oil and not the other way round. Stir the mixture until it starts to tress and then add the fragrance oil into it. You can also add the almond oil as it will superfat the essential oils.
'Superfat' means helping the oils to stay in the natural state. Stir well and transfer the mixture in a soap making mold for curing it well. This homemade soap is a great moisturizer that you can pamper the skin with. It nourishes your skin very tenderly without any side effects.
