The basic instructions are the same for all kinds of candles, be it the regular or the decorative ones. The difference remains in the ingredients and the designs.
Gather the required supplies based on whether you are making richly scented candles or scented soy candles.
Heat the candle wax in the stainless steel pot over a medium flame (about 200 degrees Fahrenheit), until it melts completely.
Lay the wick in the center of the mold as per the instructions.
In order to keep the wick straight, you can roll the other end of it on a long stick and place it on top of the container.
Add candle color to the melted wax and stir the mixture for spreading the dye evenly.
Then add specific amounts of the perfume or the candle scent in the mixture.
After the candle mixture is blended well, gently pour it into the candle mold.
Allow the wax to cool down and harden. Remove the scented candle from the mold and put it on display.
You can use dried petals and herbs as an ingredient or use them as decoration on the side of the candle by using adhesive glue. Do not forget to use essential oils of your preferred choice to fill the room with a sweet scent.
