Soap is an extremely essential household item. Liquid soap is now seen replacing the soap bars at many places. Scented, colorful liquid soaps and some containing granules are just lovely.
Most people feel that these form more lather and help clean the hands thoroughly as compared to soap bars. With many advantages, one of the disadvantages is that most of the varieties are expensive. So, if you are one of those liquid soap lovers, here's how to make it at home, easily.

Recipe #1

Ingredients Required
● 1 Soap bar
● 1 tbsp of Honey
● 1 tsp of Glycerin
● Water
Procedure
Start by boiling water in a medium-sized bowl. Till it boils, grate the soap bar. Now transfer the grated soap bar into a blender and pour the boiled water over it, and blend it. Pour 5 cups of water (room temperature) and glycerin and let it blend well. Put honey and again blend. Pour the mixture in a large bowl and whip it.
Leave it as it is for about 20 minutes. Whip it again. Let it cool down and then pour it into the container. You can vary the amount of water added to have the desired consistency. Decorative or transparent containers look very beautiful. You can also add a few drops of soap coloring and soap fragrance to it, before it is kept for cooling, and whip it once.

Ingredients Required
● 1 Soap bar
● 5 tbsp of Olive oil
● Water
Procedure
Grate the soap bar. Now boil 1 cup of water in a cooking bowl or saucepan. Once it boils, add olive oil and grated soap to it. Mix the ingredients well; you can use a blender for this purpose. Heat the mixture again.
Add about 3 - 4 cups of water, stir well, and let it cool down. Fill it up in the bottles. You can increase the amount of olive oil if required. You can also add fragrance and colors if desired, and mix well before the mixture cools down.

Ingredients Required
  • 1 Castile soap
  • 10 drops Sandalwood oil
  • 1 drop Eucalyptus oil
  • 1 drop Lemon oil
  • Water
Procedure
Grate the Castile soap. Boil 1 cup water and add grated soap to it. Pour this mixture into a blender and blend well. Now add sandalwood oil, eucalyptus oil, and lemon oil to this mixture, and stir well using a spoon.
Add 4 - 5 cups of hot water to this. You can vary the amount of oils as desired. Let it cool down. Pour it in the bottles. You can also use other essential oils such as lavender oil, that will be best for sensitive skin.
Just get the required ingredients and have your bottle ready. You can follow the mentioned procedures of making homemade soaps, and experiment a bit by adding various ingredients according to your needs to make it gentle, scented, or strong.
